Informal indigenous seed systems fostering genetic diversity

This article highlights how Farmer Managed Seed Systems have preserved seed genetic diversity and improved farmer’s access to a wider range of quality and diverse seeds and planting materials and further demonstrate how, by saving and exchanging seeds, farmers conserve biodiversity and contribute to fighting hunger.
