Halfway through the 'Seeds for Needs' project in Papua New Guinea
Papua New Guinea is a country experiencing the effects of climate change and is affecting over 80% of the population because of their dependence on subsistence agriculture. By working with partners, local communities and women's groups in Papua New Guinea, Bioversity International in partnership with National Agricultural Research Institute (NARI) is facilitating an opportunity for the farmers of this country from falling deeper into poverty: the "Seeds for Needs" project. This video report presents some of the activities and results achieved after a year-and-a-half.
